So I did my first photo shoot with a band yesterday. They are called The Standards and they are a 5 guy vocal group from Franklin, TN. It was a good learning experience posing 5 guys in a single picture and getting them all doing what i envisioned at the same time but I think we pulled it off. I will post a few pics of the group soon but here is one of Jordan that I really liked.

Seeing as how i don't get alot of time at home I thought it would be fun to shoot a few pictures with my boys. We had made a guys night of it eating pizza and then wandering into the studio to snap a few shots. This was my favorite from the session. Jacob my oldest is getting really good at playing the guitar and so Tyler of course wants to mimic what his big brother is doing; so in this one he is the guitar tech who is tuning on the fly while Jacob plays away.

This was a small church I found while out driving around in Punta Del Este, Uruguay. It caught my eye so I pulled over and took few shots. Uruguay is a beautiful place and the resort area is very nice but I don't recommend visiting in the off season as there is no one around and most of the places are closed except on the weekends.Off to Beunos Aires in a few days so we will see how that is and i think I will have a big steak.

Well I shold be sitting by the ocean in Punta Del Este, Uruguay however the airline decide to cancel my flight thus leaving me an afternoon and evening in the lovely Sao Paulo. I ended up at a hotel airport for about 10 hours just burning time till my 11:20 pm flight to Punta. It ended up working out very nice as i was on the 20th floor of a hotel with a small balcony that i made my way onto with my camera after sneaking out the window of my hotel room. It was a little sketchy up there but it made for some goods shots. I hope you enjoy them as i risked life and limb to get this one....ok maybe I overstated that last part a bit......

Lima Peru Cemetery

This was the first official cemetery in Lima and was inaugurated in 1808 by the Viceroy Abascal. The designer was the well-known master builder and priest Matías Maestro. There are more than 766 mausoleums in the neoclassic style and among them are fascinating statues and monuments inspired by Saints and theological virtues. This was the largest cemetery I have ever been in. Tomorrow I will post a wide picture of the cemetery from a nearby mountain top.

Grandlienard Wedding

Regan and Fred were married on June 20th in Holland Michigan on the banks of Lake Michigan. I know Regan from my years of working with Acquire The Fire where she was my trusted assistant for all of our stadium events. I was priviledged to be asked by Regan to shoot thier wedding even though it would be my first. It was a small beautiful ceremony held in front of only their closest friends and family. Fred and Regan are a fun couple and I look forward to hearing about the many memories they share together. Thanks Fred and Regan for trusting us with your special day.

Under the tracks_HDR

Well it is another day on the Tina Turner European tour. At this point the whole thing is on cruise control. I am bored and here in Manchester for another 6 days. Oh well at least the phone is affordable here in the UK. I am posting a pic I took yesterday under some old railroad tracks here. It was a run down area but it was very intriguing for photos. I hope you all enjoy it.
